WILHELM CONRAD RONTGEN
Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen was raised in the Netherlands. He lived with a catholic family. He moved to the Netherlands in March 1848. Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen got expelled from school for not revealing a friend that was guilty for drawing an unflattering portrait. He tried to attend University of Utrecht but, he did not have the necessary credentials. Wilhelm heard he could enter Federal Polytechnic Institute he passed the examinations. When he passed the examinations he started studying mechanical engineering.
Wilhelm became a lecturer at University of Strassburg in 1874. At the Academy of Agriculture Wilhelm became a professor in 1875. When World War 1 started Wilhelm stayed in munich for the rest of his career. In 1895 Wilhelm studied vacuum tubes.In November 8 1895, Wilhelm detected electromagnetic radiation.
